Moist Slow Cooker Beef Roast

Share

A moist and tender Beef Pot roast.

I must say this is the most, moist Roast I have ever made! I will admit, I have prepared my share of dry Beef Roasts. This recipe I created is foolproof for creating a melt in your mouth Pot Roast. It simply falls apart so no need for slicing.

The Beef is so tender and juicy, it pairs well with my Cheesy Mashed Potatoes

The Beef is excellent on the side of these rich Potatoes or put the Beef right on top of the Potatoes. Either way, it is a delicious meal.

MOIST SLOW COOKER BEEF ROAST

Ingredients:

  • 1 (3 LB.) Boneless Beef Round Bottom Roast or Boneless Chuck Pot Roast
  • 1/2 Cup Red Wine (I used Merlot)
  • 1 Stick Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Brown Gravy Packets
  • 1 Red Onion, peeled and cut into quarters (use 1 small or half of a large)

Directions:

1. Place the Beef Roast into a 6 or 7 quart Slow Cooker.

2. Scatter the Red Onion Quarters around the Beef Roast.

3. Sprinkle the Brown Gravy packets over the Roast and Onions.

4. Unwrap the Butter and set on top of the Roast.

5. Pour the Red Wine over all, in the Slow Cooker. Do Not Stir! Place the cover on the slow cooker.

6. Turn the Slow Cooker on low and set the timer for exactly 8 hours.

7. After 8 hours, remove the lid from the Slow Cooker and the Beef will be fall apart tender.
