Frozen Grapes

A refreshing and delicious frozen snack.

Have you ever had Frozen Grapes? If you haven’t, you absolutely have to try them. They are a great treat especially in the summer months.

You can freeze them on skewers for an elegant presentation or you can simply place then in plastic bags for the kids to snack on.

I served these once at a party and I offered them to one of our guests. She said her dentist would not like her eating Frozen Grapes. I asked her if she ever had them.Turns out she had never tried them. What she didn’t know is, these little gems retain their crisp Grape texture but the inside is almost like a creamy frozen sorbet after you freeze them.

You can use Red Grapes, Green Grapes or Black Grapes. Use a mixture of all three if you like.

Here is how you make them:

FROZEN GRAPES

Ingredients:

1 pound Grapes

Directions:
1. Rinse the Grapes in a colander.

2. Remove the Grapes from the stems. Place the Grapes on paper towels to allow them to dry. They do not have to be completely dry, in fact leaving a little water on them gives them a nice sheen when you take them out of the freezer.

3. Put the Grapes on Skewers then put them on a tray. Place the tray of Grapes in the freezer. Freeze for at least 2 hours prior to serving.
