A special Christmas treat.

These treats are filled with Peanuts, Coconut, Mini Marshmallows and Peanut Butter, all encased in White Almond Bark. The Sprinkles on the top make these treats very festive for Christmas.

CHRISTMAS KRISPIES

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 1 Pound White Almond Bark
  • 1/2 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 1 & 1/2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 Cup Sweetened Flaked Coconut
  • 1 Cup Unsalted Peanuts
  • Decorating Sprinkles

Directions:

1. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

2. In a Dutch oven or large pan, melt the Almond Bark over lowest heat setting, stirring often.

3. Stir the Peanut Butter into the melted Almond Bark.

4. Fold in the Marshmallows and stir well. Now fold in the Peanuts, Coconut and Rice Krispies.

5. Use a 2 Tablespoon size ice cream scoop to scoop out the Christmas Krispies and drop onto the parchment paper on the prepared pans. You should get about 28 Treats. Quickly sprinkle the decorating sprinkles on top of each Christmas Krispies Treat.

6. Place the baking sheets with the Christmas Krispies on in the freezer for 40 minutes. This will set them up. After 40 minutes, transfer the Christmas Krispies into a covered container.
