Ginger Carrots

A flavorful Glazed Carrot recipe.

I love Carrots as a side dish. These Carrots pair well with Turkey, Pork, Ham and more. The sweet Glaze is delicious on the Carrots.

This recipe is so easy and the Carrots come together quickly, so if you need a last minute side dish, give my recipe a try.

GINGER CARROTS

Ingredients:

  • 2 (10 oz.) Packages Match Stick Carrots
  • 2 Tablespoons Ginger
  • 1 & 1/2 Cups Ginger Ale Soda
  • 1/4 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Chinese Five Spice Powder
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt

Directions:
1. In a large saute pan add the Carrots, Butter, Salt, Ground Ginger and Ginger Ale. Cook and stir over medium/high heat just until the sauce begins to bubble, then turn down the heat to low, cover the pan and continue to simmer for 5-6 minutes or until the carrots are al dente.

2. Uncover the pan and add the Brown Sugar and Chinese Five Spice. Cook and stir for 3-5 more minutes until the Sauce is well combined and begins to glaze the Carrots.
