A must have Gelatin Dessert for your next potluck.

This fluffy gelatin dessert is sure to please all your guests at your next potluck or family gathering. Gelatin desserts are popular here in Minnesota along with our Hot Dishes!

You can have most of these ingredients on hand to whip up this dessert at anytime. I never have any left overs and friends and family always ask for the recipe. I hope you like it as much as they do!

CHERRY PINEAPPLE DREAM DESSERT

Ingredients:

  • 1 (3.4 oz.) box Instant Cheesecake Pudding Mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) box Cherry Jello
  • 1 (8 oz.) Tub Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 (20 oz.) Can Pineapple Tidbits, drained
  • 1 (10 oz.) Maraschino Cherries, drained
  • 2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 Cup Boiling Water
  • 1 Cup Cold Water

Directions:

1. Add powdered Jello into a medium mixing bowl. Pour in the Boiling Water. Stir until Jello is dissolved. Then stir in the Cold Water.

2. Chill the Jello in the refrigerator for 20 minutes, covered.

3. Remove the Jello from the refrigerator and whisk in the dry Pudding Mix. Cover the bowl and chill for 15-20 minutes.

4. Fold in the Cool Whip, Pineapple Tidbits,Cherries and the Marshmallows.

5. Chill the Dessert in the refrigerator covered for 2 hours prior to serving.
