Banana Fruit Salad

Share

A creamy, easy to make Fruit Salad.

For this Fruit Salad I use a combination of fresh fruit and canned fruit. Kids love the addition of the marshmallows. This is great to bring to your potluck gatherings and here in the Minnesota, it seems everyone includes a Fruit Salad on their menu during the holidays or at family gatherings.

BANANA FRUIT SALAD

Ingredients:

  • 2 Bananas, sliced then halved
  • 1 (3.4 oz.) Package Banana Cream Pudding, prepared according to package directions
  • 1 & 1/2 Cups Green Grapes, halved
  • 1 & 1/2 Cups Fresh Strawberries, sliced
  • 1 & 1/2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 (8 oz.) Can Pineapple Tidbits, drained
  • 1 (11 oz.) Can Mandarin Oranges, drained
  • 1 Cup Cool Whip

Directions:

1. In a medium bowl, fold together 1 Cup of the Banana Cream Pudding along with 1 Cup Cool Whip. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl, add the Mandarin Oranges, Grapes, Pineapple, Strawberries, Marshmallows and the Bananas.

3. Now fold the Pudding mixture gently into the Fruit mixture.

4. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. I would suggest not leaving it sit for more than 6-8 hours in the fridge, as the juice from the fruit can cause the Salad to get runny. I never have any leftovers when serving this because it is a family favorite on the buffet table!
